Praise be to God for His great grace... This is a nice composition in the biographies of the narrators mentioned in Imam Malik’s Muwatta... Introduction Ali bin Al-Madini said on the authority of Sufyan bin Uyaynah: Malik was not more selective about men and learned about them. Ali also said on the authority of Habib Al-Warraq, the writer of Malik, that Al-Darawardi, Ibn Abi Hazim, and Ibn Kinanah gave me a dinar on the condition that I ask Malik about three men from whom he did not narrate.
