Praise be to God, who encompasses the knowledge of what we have, who is gracious to us with guidance and an end, who prolongs the end of sufficiency and the sufficiency of the end... For knowledge brings together the springs of benefits, a searchlight to clarify the path of truth to the aspirants, leading with its bright lights to the beginning of the aspirants, so the rays of light are on the face of its seeker who clings to its guidance.
