As long as you have asked me, people of knowledge, God has granted you your question and has made it easy for you to reach what is intended. Your arrival at the collection of a book on the interpretation of the Qur’an is easy, abstaining, concise, and collected, out of your eagerness for my words, your disdain for my system, your confidence in my choice, and your satisfaction with my will and my power. You found me refusing with excuses, slowing down on caution, and suffering because the speech in the Book of God is severe and the time limit for its completion is long.
