Sample Text	Praise be to God, from whom is the beginning, and to whom is the end... And after: When I finished editing the Almagest, I decided to edit the book Fundamentals of Geometry and Arithmetic attributed to Euclid of Tyre, in brief and without prejudice... and add to it what is appropriate to it from what I have benefited from the books of the people of this knowledge, and deduced from my reading, and sorted out what was found from the original book in Al-Hajjaj’s two versions, and confirmed what was more on it, either by pointing to that or by different colors, shapes and numbers, so I did that. Trusting in God... I say: The book contains fifteen articles, with appendices at the end, which are four hundred and sixty-nine forms in Al-Hajjaj’s version, and an additional ten forms in Thabit’s version, and in some places in the order there is also a difference between them, and I numbered the number of forms of articles in red for Thabit, and in black for Al-Hajjaj if it differs from him.
