Praise be to God who made the stars of the sky a guidance for the bewildered on land and sea from the darkness... As for what follows: In this writing, I intended to mention something of the virtues of Imam Al-Muttalib, the supporter of the Prophet’s hadith, Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Idris Al-Shafi’i, and those who find it difficult to understand the remembrance or aspire to catch up with them have previously written about it... In these papers, I have summarized most of the objectives and added to them a number of benefits with an amount of knowledge and rigidity of understanding.
