Brockelmann says that the text is by al-Qasim ibn Ibrahim al-Rasi (246/860), and he cites an explanation by Abd al-Jabbar ibn Ahmad and a footnote by Lamna Nakdim “GAL S.” It is mentioned in the printed catalog that there are other copies of this manuscript in the catalog of manuscripts of the Western Library at the Grand Mosque in Sana’a by Ahmad Muhammad Isawi and Muhammad Sa`id al-Malih under the following numbers 599-602, 688, and the text is attributed to Mankdim in Catalog of Manuscripts of the Western Library at the Grand Mosque in Sana’a by Ahmed Abd al-Razzaq al-Raqihi, Abdullah Muhammad al-Habashi, and Ali Wahhab al-Ansi (p. 178, Ilm al-Kalaam 91-93), in the description of more than one manuscript, and perhaps it is the most correct. A “Commentary on the Five Principles” was mentioned in the catalog of manuscripts of the Western Library at the Grand Mosque in Sana’a by Ahmed Abd al-Razzaq al-Raqihi, Abdullah Muhammad al-Habashi, and Ali Wahhab al-Ansi (Ilm al-Kalam 32), attributed to Abd al-Jabbar bin Ahmad.
