Notes In this letter, the author presented three sciences: logic, principles of jurisprudence, and monotheism. He arranged this in a strange order in that he divided the pages into tables that could be read lengthwise and widthwise, according to the science to be read.
Sample Text Praise be to God, who bears witness to the necessity of His existence and His power over all beings... And after that, if you read the first lines of it after combining it, then the science of balance is the standard of sciences, and if you combine what is in the middle, it is another science, so these are two sciences, the second of which is the principles of jurisprudence, so whoever contemplates it will have insight into some of it, and if it is read casually, then it is something from the science of monotheism.
