Notes
The copyist wrote the text entirely in black ink, and used red ink to write the titles ((and to write everything he wanted to clarify)) on a newly made ink. On the title page, at the end of which is the seal of the Habib Ganj Library. This copy of ours was described in the Aligarh Index, Descriptive Catalog 2/268, with the same preservation number. Copied: Brockelmann did not mention it among the author’s works.
Sample Text
(Praise be to God who created man and he was not something mentioned...) As for what follows, the weak servant called Wali Allah ibn Abd al-Rahim, whom God treated with great kindness, says: These are divine understandings that flowed from the care of the Most Merciful to the heavens, then to the tongue, then to the statement, and in this time they required to be embraced by proof. I called them ((the emerging maidens)), and I arranged them into an opening and three articles.
