Notes By the beginning and the end, we say some of them in Persian. A famous system in Tajweed, known as the introduction, and what the reader should know is its beginning: The one seeking the pardon of the Lord of the listener says Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Jazari al-Shafi’i. The commentator, the one with the intelligible footnotes, is (Ibn) al-Nazim.
Sample Text Praise be to God Almighty in the majesty of His holiness. I cannot count the praise for Him as He counted for Himself.. And then; The first thing to be addressed by God Almighty, the Word of God the Great, the Most High, is to begin with it before reciting it, by intonation of its letters and correcting its reading, and the most useful thing to compose in this regard was the Arjooza called the Introduction... and I wrote a comment on it and called it: The Understandable Footnotes.
