Notes
It was copied from the copy of Al-Nawab Akbar Yar Jank Bahadur, and Abdul Quddus Al-Hashimi copied it according to the original on the fifth of Shawwal in the year 1351 AH, as appears at the end. At the end of it were appended four leaves containing the words of Muhammad Ashiq Al-Bahli. The text was written entirely in black ink, and the copyist used red ink to write the title and a number of words throughout the text. Copied: This copy of ours was described in the Aligarh Catalog 268/2, descriptive catalogue, and Brockelmann did not mention any copy of it in the author’s translation.
Sample Text
(O God, our Lord, You have exalted Yourself and You have been exalted, so praise is due to You, and Your names are exalted...) So the weak servant called the friend of God says, “He is his in the hereafter and the first, and complete upon him His greatest blessing and His greatest mercy.” These are the knowledge of wisdom that whoever has been given [has been given much good], which is the lost property of the wise man, so wherever he finds it, he has more right to it.
