﴿Yess. And the Wise Qur’an. Indeed, you are of the Messengers.) This Surah is Meccan, and the reason for its revelation is that the infidels said that Muhammad is neither a prophet nor a messenger, but rather he is the orphan of Abu Talib, and as long as the office is gone and we do not know who his teacher is, how can he become a prophet?! The infidels were adamant in their denial, and God rejected the words of the infidels, revealed this Surah, and bore witness with His majestic self to His message.
