Notes
The text is within a frame, and it is annotated. The explanation consists of edits to the work, which were transferred, as appears from the introduction to the text, by one of the science students who was a contemporary of the author’s grandson, “Abdul Latif.” This student transferred them from a copy in the work’s handwriting of the method, and stripped them of these footnotes and edits to preserve them.
