Notes
The message begins as if it were forty hadiths, but it extends from the seventh to the tenth hadith, then from the tenth to the twentieth, then to the thirty-fourth, then the message continues like the first with about forty hadiths whose titles are: “The Prophet, peace be upon him, said,” interspersed with titles: “Ali said,” then comes what looks like abbreviated texts in Arabic and finally in Turkish. What is written here at the end of the manuscript is what came under the last heading of “The Prophet, peace be upon him, said.” The text is followed.
Sample Text
The only ascetic sheikh, Abu Saeed Ahmad bin Al-Hussein Al-Tusi, may God be pleased with him, told us: I collected a hadith on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, about the virtue of the poor and the Sufis, with an authentic chain of transmission, except that I presented the chains of narrations so that it would be lighter and easier for those who memorize or hear, except good at the beginning and good at the end, seeking blessing from the sheikhs.
