Manuscript written by the author; - An illustrated copy in fatstat, from a copy in Nastaliq script, handwritten by Mr. Mahmoud Shukri Al-Alusi. - It was stated in («Images of Iraq»: p. 148): «The answer to what was unclear, from the questions related to the letters of the dictionary» in which he answered Al-Suyuti’s seven [linguistic] questions that no one answered in his time... And I saw in the history of the literature of the Arabic language (vol. 3, p. 290) that Al-Shinawani, who died in the year 1019, also answered them in a book he called (Hilyat Ahl Al-Kamal. With Answers to the Questions of Al-Jalal). A copy of it is in Dar Al-Kutub. Egyptian. Basmalah... Praise be to God who taught Adam all the names, and designated the type of man with the eloquence of logic and eloquence and qualified him for it... As for what follows, then the poor one, Mahmoud Shukri Al-Alusi Al-Baghdadi, says: Since the letters of the alphabet are the minerals of knowledge and the treasure troves of the minutes concealed by the veils of concealment... and some issues related to them have mixed in my mind..., and I found seven questions of this kind that were well addressed by the Sheikh of Islam... Sheikh Jalal al-Din Al-Suyuti... where he said:
