Introduction to the issues: Praise be to God who made knowledge the slogan of the people of guidance... As for what follows: The best of people after the honorable prophets are the imams of guidance and the scholars of Islam, for they are the ones who guide people to the paths of guidance and the successors of the good messengers in calling people to the abode of stability, and they are the ones for whom everything seeks forgiveness, even the whales in the seas... (13a) Praise be to God who brought forth the light of servitude... As for what follows: Some of my most sincere brothers in religion, and those who excelled, asked me about His peers with sincerity of request and certainty are ten issues that are in fact most of what the student needs to know... and I named it the book: “Tuhfat al-Barara fi al-Ten Issues”
