Notes A photocopy of a handwritten copy in the Abbasid Library in Basra (the library of books of the Abbasid notables). In Naskh script, number 405, books of jurisprudence and origin. The author is the explainer of the curriculum. * This copy was mentioned by Ali Al-Khaqani (“Manuscripts of the Abbasid Library in Basra” 2: 27-28). He also referred to another copy in “Collected No. AH-90 in which: The Literature of the Judges: The beginning was omitted and the end was completed in the seventh of Safar 1123 AH”: (“Manuscripts of the Abbasid Library in Basra” 2: 129).
Sample Text After the basmala and the praise... «And what follows: Judiciary is one of the very dangerous jobs in the Hereafter, and it is for the one who loves himself and fears for him..., and when God Almighty appointed me to serve as governor’s office in Damascus in the year seven hundred and ninety, God Almighty made it easy for me to write simple issues related to the rulers, and I did not intend to comprehend the issues as they require volumes, so I limited myself to what often happens to the rulers, and I meant by that Clarification, and I did not address questions, disagreements, or what rarely happens, and I arranged it into sections
