Notes
The entire collection is in the handwriting of one scribe, who appears to be Muhammad bin Ali bin Mulla Sabtah al-Shaykhli al-Baghdadi (d. 1318 AH), by order of Sayyid Ali al-Qadiri al-Kilani, captain of the nobles in Baghdad. Written in beautiful, clear Nasta'liq script.
Sample Text
Praise be to God, who has revealed himself to all His servants with His attributes and names, and the minds of the seekers are lost in the hand of His pride. Now, you asked me - may God guide you - about the deceptive news of the rabble and the ignorant people’s similarity to the Hashawiyya.
