Notes Abstract of Beliefs by Nasir al-Din al-Tusi (Brockelmann Appendix 1/925). The copyist wrote it generally in black ink, and used red ink to write the words “origin,” “explanation,” and to draw warning lines on the annotated text. Copied by: Brockelmann mentioned copies of it in Appendix 1/926, including a copy in the Habib Kanj Collection, number: 114/23, two copies in the Al-Marashi Al-Najafi Library in Qom, a copy in the Al-Biruni Institute in Taghashend, 4638, and a copy in the King Saud University Library, number: 2217, but it differs slightly from what is here.

For the weakest of the servants of God... Mahmoud bin Abi Al-Qasim bin Ahmed Al-Isfahani... says, “When the highest thing to which the necks of determination can rise and the most lofty of what competes with the best of nations is the purification of the soul, from whose types are the fruits of the intellects that are harvested.”
