Notes	At the beginning of the part is an index of the names of the books and chapters and several of the hadiths contained therein, as edited by Judge Shihab al-Din bin Hajar, with a commentary, in its margins are corrections, comments, and differences between the versions. At the beginning and end there are earphones on the previous versions, the text of the interview and the summation of it: This volume was presented to Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Dharr Ahmad bin Burhan al-Din al-Muhaddith (851 AH), by reading its author Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Salami and his handwriting at times and by reading the referenced one. This section confirms the authenticity of the Damascene original of our aforementioned sheikh, which is the original read in the corresponding Mizzi script in the Al-Maqrizi script.

He heard Alqamah bin Waqqas Al-Laythi saying: I heard Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, on the pulpit saying: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
