Notes	The millennium of Ibn Malik (672 AH) was expressed in it. Explaining the oddities of their languages without explaining their meanings, as he says in the introduction to the book (Because knowing the parsing is one of the duties that every student of knowledge must do, and one of the tasks that the jurist cannot do without, and one of the most useful paths, and the closest understandings, to this method is Alfiyya Ibn Malik. However, its commentators exhausted the mind in understanding its meanings and did not consider the parsing of its meanings except in a place where they restricted it due to the urgent need for it, so it came to my mind to parse all its verses and explain I am strange in its languages, and I control what is difficult in its languages to make it easier to understand and memorize it, and I refer the solution to its meanings to its commentators for fear of prolonging.... Perhaps some people disagreed in places where he said by analogy, although there is no dispute that it is from the places of hearing in places that he included in the chapter of work and deeds and is not from it.” He left a margin of (3.5 cm) wide on it, with some comments.
