بني هذا المختصر على أبواب منها: فضل الزهد وصفته، وهو أن الدنيا ومذمتها، والقناعة والحرص، وترك الاهتمام بالرزق، وفضل الفاقة على الغنى والثروة ومحبة المساكين، وفصول أخرى كثيرة من الزهد والتصوف، العناوين الداخلية بالمداد الأصفر والبنفسجي والأحمر، يليه: كتاب التصفية المنجية عن الموانع المهلكة المردية لمحمد بن الحسن الديلمي من 141 ـ253، يليه: كتاب البساط للإمام الأعظم الحسن الأطروش بن علي بن الحسن بن علي بن عمر من 254 ـ276، يليه كتاب في الأحاديث بدون عنوان ولا مؤلف من 276 ـ334، يليه كتاب: كنز الرشاد وزاد المعاد لعز الدين بن الحسن بن أمير المؤمنين 334 ـ355، يليه الأربعين الحديث السيلقية "للسيلقي" من 355 ـ361.

After the basmala, the preamble, and the curses of the sayings, as for what follows: You asked if my hope was to be brief in sermons about the various people and to reject the arts of what was transmitted from the Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib and the People of the House, peace be upon them, so I answered you to him, trusting in God.
