Notes
The author says in his preamble that this saying, “Whoever sees one who saw me up to seven will enter Hell, and Paradise is guaranteed for him,” is the saying of one of the saints, and that Sheikh Al-Yusi used to attribute to Sidi Al-Ghazi his saying, “Everyone who saw me and saw one who saw me up to seven will not enter Hell,” and that my master Abd al-Rahman al-Ghali used to say, “Whoever saw one saw me up to seven, I will guarantee Paradise for him.” The writer proceeds in this way to explain and interpret this slogan and cite its authenticity, that it was applied in a sequential manner, and that it was mentioned as a matter of hope, then he praises the dignity of the saints.
