Sheikh Imam Al-Hafiz Abu Tahir Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Ubayd Allah bin Ahmad bin Salih bin Suleiman bin Wad’an, the ruler of Mosul - may God have mercy on him - told us with his chain of transmission connected to Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him. He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Whoever from my nation memorizes forty hadiths from my Sunnah, I will include him on the Day of Resurrection under my intercession.”
