An issue in the consensus of scholars: Is it permissible for a diligent person to disagree with him and what does it mean? Is the companion’s statement a proof... Praise be to God. The meaning of consensus is that Muslim scholars agree on a ruling, and if the nation’s consensus on a ruling is proven; No one has the right to deviate from their consensus, for the nation does not agree on misguidance, but on many issues some people think there is consensus, but this is not the case. Rather, the other opinion is more preferable in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
