Jurisprudence, the foundations of jurisprudence, examines the invalidity of the Raghaib prayer, and the author cites eleven points in which this prayer violates the Sharia. It is a prayer that ascetics pray on the first Friday night of the month of Rajab between the Maghrib and Isha prayers, which is twelve rak’ahs, and they recite Surat Al-Ikhlas twelve times and Surat Al-Qadr as many times as they wish, with one prostration. It appeared in Jerusalem in the fifth century AH, as Abu Muhammad Al-Tartushi mentioned.

Praise be to God, the First Who is not encompassed by any descriptive description, the Last Whom the knowledge of a knower does not contain, Glory be to our Lord for imitating His creation. Now that there are three innovations, one of them is what is permissible, such as expansion in food, drink, clothing, and marriage. There is nothing wrong with any of that. The second is what is good, which is every innovation.
