Notes	A story in which the author narrates the events of the strife that broke out when the authority of Mawla Suleiman weakened, and his defeats against the Berbers and other Kharijites increased against him, and during which the scholars were divided between supporters of his remaining on the throne, and opponents and those demanding his removal. He mentions to us the names of the supporters and the names of the opponents, and he criticizes the opposition dissidents in scathing terms. Then he describes the departure of Mawla Suleiman and those with him from Fez, seeking refuge among the people of Morocco, then Rabat, as the author describes. (?) and his children for fear of the consequences.
