Notes - The title in the manuscript came in “The Wars.” What was mentioned above is “wars” quoted from Ibn Khalkan, as will follow. - Ibn Khallikan said in the translation of “Al-Bayasi”: (“Deaths of Notables” 2: 617; Bulaq 1275 AH): “... he moved in the lands of Andalusia and toured most of them, and when he came from the island of Andalusia to the city of Tunisia, he compiled for Prince Abu Zakaria Yahya bin Abi Muhammad Abdul Wahed bin Abi Hafs Omar, the owner of Africa... a book that he called the media about the wars occurring at the beginning of Islam, in which he began with the killing of Omar bin Al-Khattab May God be pleased with him, and he concluded with the departure of Al-Walid bin Tarif Al-Shari against Harun Al-Rashid in the countries of the Euphrates Peninsula... I saw this book and read it, and it is in two volumes. He was good at compiling it, and his words about it are those of someone who knows this art.” - The author is a historian. Among the scholars of Andalusia and its memorizers of hadith: He attributed it to “Biyasa,” a large city in Andalusia, numbered in Kura Jiyan (Mu’jam al-Buldan 1: 773). What was written and compiled by the revered Sheikh, the revered Imam, Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Ansari Al-Bayasi. May God Almighty have mercy on him - an illustrated copy of a copy.” Manuscript in Dar al-Kutub al-Misriyya (numbered 399 dates), in “Khedivian Index” 5: 10-11: “Information about the wars that occurred at the beginning of Islam: what was written and compiled by the eminent Sheikh Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Ansari al-Bayasi...
