Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, the Sustainer of the heavens and the earths... We have narrated on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, Abdullah bin Masoud, Muadh bin Jabal, Abu Darda, Ibn Omar, Ibn Abbas, Anas bin Malik, Abu Hurairah, and Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with them, through many chains of transmission with various narrations, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever memorizes forty hadiths from my nation concerning matters of its religion, God Almighty will raise him on the Day of Resurrection to the group of jurists and scholars.”
