It begins where the first volume ended, completing the translation of (Al-Zubayr Ibn Al-Awam) and ending at the beginning of the chapter entitled (Chapter Ubaid), which takes up the rest of the first part and a small section of the second part of the complete version (No. 7790 in the printed index). He continues his path through the first part until the first chapter (Al-Sin), then he differs in order, and at the end it is stated that “he has completed the first book of the Book of Absorption.”
