Notes
The copyist wrote the text of ((Al-Muwatta)) in red ink, and wrote the titles and words: ((I said)), ((I say)), ((Attention)), and other things in clear black within hexagonal tables colored in red, blue, and black ink on each sheet in the last half only. It includes some corrections. The copyist left spaces during the text. Copies: Two copies of them are in Index Khudabakhsh 5/1/3-4, and see: Al-Suyuti Manuscripts Guide 48 and Brockelmann 1/175 and its appendix 1/297.
Sample Text
(Praise be to God who sent the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, with the clearest path, and through him enlightened the hope of all your condition... and after) This is a nice commentary on ((Muwatta’)) by Imam Malik bin Anas, may God be pleased with him, in the style of what you commented on ((Sahih Muslim)) called ((Al-Dibaj)), and a little broader than both of them, which I summarized from my larger explanation that was collected, so he became aware and baptized to Al-Juffali when he was called, and I called this commentary ((Enlightening the Hawalik on Muwatta Malik)), and I ask God to guide us in this world and the hereafter
