Sample Text
A question about which the Sheikh of Islam, Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Taymiyyah al-Harrani, may God be pleased with him, was asked about in the Levant before he entered Egypt... Concerning the voluntary actions of the servants that take place through God’s creation and the servant earns... Summary of the answer: Earning is the action from which there is no benefit or harm to it, as the Almighty said: “... to her is what she has earned, and upon her is what It has been earned...) So God Almighty made it clear that earning the soul is for it and upon it, and people say: So-and-so has earned money or praise or honor because he benefits from that, and because the servants are perfected by their actions and are corrected by them.
