Commentary on al-Tirmidhī's Kitāb al-Shamā'il. Fragment only from Faṣl fī bayān libs al-sawād. The title of the work is given as Sharḥ Tirmidhī li-Ibn Ḥajar. The fragment is on fol. IIv above the main text in the manuscript; the last lines are tapered to form the shape of a colophon. The codex, a composite volume, contains both entire works and fragments of works written on European paper from the time in question. Below this fragment is a line and a half of text from Zayn al-’Arab [al-Nahjuwānī] 's Sharḥ al-Maṣābīḥ.
