Notes
The copyist wrote it generally in black ink, and the copyist used red ink to write the problem numbers and draw warning lines on some phrases throughout the text. Sharaf al-Din, one of the Mutalikums, added an index to the beginning and pointed out the issues mentioned in each verse in the book. Copies: Brockelmann mentioned some copies of them in some vaults in Appendix 612/2.

After all, the most beneficial of demands in money and wealth, and the most exalted and perfect of goals, are religious knowledge, certain landmarks, and the knowledge of the Qur’an, among which are the absolutely highest and strongest proofs. The predecessors exerted their effort... and their efforts, where they put the truth into sciences and made branches and roots, so they divided it into branches.
