Praise be to God, who has enabled us to pave the way for the foundations of Sharia rulings and to build their pillars by consolidating Arab laws... Now then: the science of jurisprudence does not hide its honor, its virtue, the majesty of its destiny, its attainment, and the extent of the need of those responsible for it... It is no offense that we have arranged this book, which God Almighty has asked us to compile and arrange, into two parts, one of which is to establish the fundamental rules and branch out the necessary secondary rulings, and the second is to determine the Arab demands and arrange what is appropriate for them. The Sharia Branches...and its name: Preparing the fundamentalist and Arabic rules to branch out the rules of Sharia rulings.
