Notes It is an explanation of the first collection of Abu Al-Ala Al-Maarri, which is marked with the fall of the ulna. This commentary is known as the Sharh al-Tanwir ala Saqt al-Zand. It was written on its title leaf in a different handwriting: “The commentary is by the sheikh, author, and scholar, Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr al-Shafi’i, a resident of Baghdad. He was originally from Khorasan, and he was about five hundred.” On all of its pages are tables in red. Al-Ma'arri's verses are written in red. Completely made in black.
