Argument is an interaction between two people in stating the argument, based on what he claims, and each one of them resists the other in what he demonstrated of the argument. When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, claimed the message and demonstrated it with the brilliant argument he demonstrated, the Jews of Medina and the Christians of Najran disputed with him and argued with him regarding the matter of God and His command, that is, regarding his selection of a prophet from the Arabs instead of them, arguing that the prophets of God were from us, our religion is the oldest, and our book is the first.
