An annotated treasury copy. On the front of the book is an decorated title, then inside the frame is written the phrase: “With the drawing of the honorable shrine... the honorable king Abu Al-Nasr Qansuh Al-Ghuri...”, the copyist from the Zamamiyya royal Ashrafi class.

Praise be to God, who singled out His Prophet with the best prayers and peace, and extended His private and general blessings... As for what follows: These are forty hadiths in the virtue of prayers and peace upon our master, the son of Adam, Muhammad bin Abdullah, may God bless him and grant him peace. I collected them from many many books. I hope that I will include in his saying: “May God bless a woman...”, and in: “Whoever memorizes forty hadiths for my nation...”, and following the example of the eminent imams.
