Notes	The first part of Al-Bukhari’s great history of the Muhammadans began with hadiths about the lineage of the Messenger and a little of his biography and history. Then he said 215b: These names were put on A B T Th, but he started with Muhammad from between the letters of A B T Th due to the condition of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, because his name is Muhammad. So when he finished with the Muhammads, he started on the alif and then the b... Then these Muhammads are on the letter A B T Th on the names of their fathers because they have become many except for about ten names, for they are not On A B C D because they are among the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, Chapter B Muhammad bin Bilal al-Qurashi [and so on until the version ends in Muhammad bin Husayn]. In each of them, it is mentioned about the person who took it, and he may narrate hadiths about him. Parts of this book have been printed. From the fifth century, and the first leaf is in a more recent script, that is, from the eighth century, perhaps golden, and with some names.
