Notes
Some of its footnotes are written in the author's hand. It deals, as the author stated in its preface: what is appropriate for presidents, judges, princes, and kings of good behavior and behavior, coupled with the exploits of the Alawite Sultan Suleiman bin Muhammad bin Abdullah (1206-1238 AH). In writing it, he relied on the book “Politics” by Plato, “Siyasat Al-Hakim” Ibn Ridwan, and what the wise men of Islam wrote about it. He divided his book into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion, and dealt in the introduction with wisdom and proverbs, and the virtues mentioned in the Sultan’s right. And the honor of deeds. He spoke in the first chapter about prophetic justice and its benefits, in the second chapter about political justice and its benefits, and in the conclusion about what is forbidden by law and by nature. This is followed by Al-Zayani’s message, whose title is “The Masterpiece of the Prophets in the Distinction between Jurists and the Fools.”
