In (“Kashf al-Zunun” 1: 699-700): “He mentioned in it the writers of his time, including his sheikhs and his father’s sheikhs, such as the owner of the treasure, the necklaces of the orphan, the orphan, the doll, and the necklaces of the camels, and it was arranged into five sections. The first: among the men of the Levant, the second: among the men of Hijaz, the third: among the men of Egypt, the fourth: among the men of the Maghreb, and the fifth: among the men of the Romans. The conclusion is in the author’s composition and prose. It is a nice composition that indicates the skill of its author in literature. And “The Hidden Corners” when printed. Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Omar Al-Khafaji, Al-Masry, Al-Hanafi, Shihab Al-Din, Abu Al-Abbas: Chief Judge and author of works on literature and language. He was attributed to the Khafaja tribe. He was born and raised in Egypt. He traveled to the Roman lands, and contacted Sultan Murad Al-Othmani, and he appointed him the governorship of Thessaloniki, then the governorship of Egypt. He traveled to the Levant and Aleppo, and returned to the Roman lands. He went to Egypt, and settled down until Tony had many of his books: “Shifa Al-Ghaleel in the Speech of the Arabs from the Intruder,” “Explanation of Durrat Al-Ghaws fi Illuman Al-Khawas,” “Tariq Al-Majalis,” “The Rihanna of Alba and the Flower of the Worldly Life,” and others. Translating it and mentioning its effects, in: (« Dictionary of Arabic Publications, pp. 830-831), (« Brockelmann 2: 399), ( « Al-I’lam wa 1: 227-228), ( « Dictionary of Authors »2: 138-139; 13: 370), (Anis al-Maqdisi: « Journal of the Arab Scientific Academy » 23 [Damascus 1948] pp. 230-238), and the references mentioned by these people regarding him, and he translated himself at the end of “His Rayhanat” (pp. 361-382), from the time he began it. He also concluded “The Hidden Corners”, with his translation.

Basmala..., we praise you, O God, with a praise that envelops the one with good eloquence and the organizer of his contracts..., and I called it the hidden corners while the men are among the remains. Then I loved to cover its soil with masters of scholars who would be the leaders of its writers, for by their remembrance mercy descends..., the beauties of the Levant and its environs..., among them: Ahmed Al-Anayati, the friend of righteousness.
