Sultan Effendi bin Hassan Al-Sayegh Al-Mawsili was one of the most famous scholars of Mosul in the thirteenth century. He studied at the universities of Al-Nabi Sheet and Bab Al-Tob. He took his permission from Sheikh Ali Effendi Muhdhar Bashi, and the scholar Hajj Othman Effendi Al-Ridwani read to him and approved it in the year 1269 AH. Among the works he wrote is the advanced treatise, which Sheikh Abdullah Al-Hasso printed after he summarized it and commented on it, and he has a treatise on revealing suspicions by Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab. |
