A footnote to Al-Baydawi’s interpretation of Surah Al-Fatihah. The author is a scholar who was born in the village of Houran in northern Iraq. He settled in Baghdad and died there of the plague. He is the sheikh of the sheikhs of Baghdad. Among his works are: Footnotes to Issam’s footnote to the luminous benefits of al-Jami in grammar. Footnotes on the trials by his grandfather Ahmed bin Haider and footnotes on the difficult wisdom books.
