The migration of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and his companions, may God be pleased with them, to Medina: Abdullah bin Zaid and Abu Hurairah said on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “If it had not been for the migration, I would have been one of the Ansar.” Abu Musa said on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “I saw in a dream that I was migrating from Mecca to a land that had palm trees, so I went and headed to it. Al-Yamamah or Al-Hijr, then it is the city of Yathrib.”
