Notes	Al-Baydawi committed himself to mentioning the word (Allah) Glory be to Him at the beginning of every verse of the tasbi’, and this tasbi’ was attributed in Revealing Suspicions to Jamal al-Din Muhammad ibn al-Wafa, and it was attributed in the index of the Egyptian House of Books to Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Maliki, and with the title (Untying the knot fi tasbi’ al-burdah) (88/3). However, the indexer returned and attributed it to Al-Baydawi when he indexed other copies (see 66/3) and pointed out the confusion in the attribution, and in our copy it was not attributed to anyone other than Al-Baydawi, just as it was attributed to Al-Baydawi in the index of the endowments of Baghdad and Mosul and the index of Al-Dhahiriya. At the beginning of the manuscript is a footnote on Takhmis Burdah by Al-Fayumi.
