In the margin of the original, he found headphones belonging to more than one person, and many readings in different countries. - A recent copy, in Naskh script. It stated at the beginning: (This book was copied at the expense of the Iraqi Commission under the supervision of the Egyptian House of Books). - Regarding the manuscript copies of “The History of Wasit,” see: Al-Muhaqqidq’s Introduction (pp. 5-7) and (“Historical Manuscripts in the Bookcase of the Iraqi Museum in Baghdad”: First Section, p. 50), (“Index of Illustrated Manuscripts, Institute of Arabic Manuscripts - Cairo 2/1: pp. 74-75: Sequence 133). - It is the first book written in the history of this city. In it, the names of its people and the ranks of their classes were recorded. - I was concerned with verifying it and commenting on it. It was published by: Korkis Awad (Al-Ma’arif Press - Baghdad 1967, 399 pages). He published it with an introduction (pp. 3-31) in which he discussed: “The manuscript of the book, the quality of the book, books written in the past in the history of Wasit, published studies and investigations about the city of Wasit: ancient Arabic references, modern Arabic references, Frankish references, the author’s translation, the city of Wasit in history. - The author is a Wasit hadith scholar of his time. He was one of the great and trustworthy memorizers, and his memorization and mastery were second to none. He was one of those who struck an abundance of arrows in the knowledge of hadith, an imam, reliable, and truthful. Completed its translation and information: The editor of the book in his introduction in which the book was published: (pp. 18-20) - corresponding to the date of its completion: January 13, 1232 AD. - 318 pages, of which 299 are for the original, and “the rest are for readings, listening, and the like. 21 cm, 26/18.5 cm.
