Notes
Brockelmann mentioned it under the title: “Comments” and said: Al-Khudari was one of the students of Al-Taftazani Al-Hafid, and it was attributed in the catalog of Al-Marashi Library 2/300 to Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Khufri. The copyist wrote it in black ink in general and used red ink to write the words: “his saying” and “I say” during the text. Many comments, explanations, and quotations from similar sources appear in its footnotes. Copies: 13 of them are in the Al-Marashi Al-Najafi Library, and Brockelmann mentioned a number of their copies in 1/509 and its appendix 1/926, including a copy in the Habib Kanj collection, No. 39/85.
Sample Text
[Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds...] So the poor says to God, the rich, Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-Khudari. These are comments that agreed with me in explaining the abstract essences. I have collected a reminder for the one who listens while he is a martyr... His saying is evidence of the necessity of existence. The author chose in proving the necessity the approach of the divine sages.
