It is a translation of the book Jami’ al-Anwar fi Manaqib al-Abrar, written in the Turkish language by Murtada Effendi, known as Nazmizadeh, who died in the year 1133 AH/1720 AD. This book includes biographies of 184 saints and righteous people, the most recent of whom is Sheikh Sandal. The author translated it at the request of Saad Allah bin Hussein Pasha Al-Jalili in Mosul. This copy has an index at the beginning, with the pages framed in blue ink.
