Sample Text
There was a discussion between me and my fellow brothers about the art of medicine and that it is the half of science (the science of religions) according to what he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Knowledge is two sciences, the science of religions and the science of the body, until it came to mentioning some of what he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, intended in summarizing that in three words: (1) The stomach is the house of disease (2) Diet is the head of medicine (3) And the root of all disease is purdah. He fell into the research, which everyone who attended was impressed by. (Then he mentions how he saw the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and Abu Bakr (may God bless him and grant him peace) in a dream with the emanation of light. He says: “I was astonished when I saw the lights. They stared at me, and I was on his right.” He was afraid, but Abu Bakr (may God bless him and grant him peace) was calmed down with awe, “So I woke up from my dream and I was happy to see him, may God bless him and grant him peace.” Then he explains the three sentences mentioned above.
