An appraisal of the poem titled Al-Kawkab Al-Durrah in praise of Khair Al-Bariyyah, known as the poem Al-Burda, composed by Sharaf Al-Din Abi Abdullah Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Busiri. He died in the year 696. The beginning of which is: May the neighbors be reminded of Dhul Salam *** Mixed with tears that flowed from a pan with blood. The beginning of the fifth Thursday: May the fire in the heart be kindled, may the sickness in the body increase. The verses of the original poem are written in red.
