Notes
A mostly good collection - except for the first treatise - on jurisprudence, fatwas and beliefs, written by Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, who died in the year 911 AH. He composed it around the year 888 AH, and the first treatise on hadith was written by Abd al-Azim al-Mundhiri, who died in the year 656 AH. It is incomplete from the end, and a collection of his letters was printed under the title “Fatwas of Al-Suyuti.” The collection was written in the usual, clear Naskh script, written by a single scribe whose name was not mentioned, presumably from the tenth century. The first letter was written in a different script, no less clear than the rest of the collection. The total includes a large number of letters, amounting to forty letters, except for individual issues in which he answered many questions and fatwas. Mullah Othman bin Mahmoud Al-Kurdi entrusted it to his relatives and Muslim students of knowledge, and it is one of the books of the Al-Kuzbari family. The total number of cards is 282 cards.
